Thorplands Youth Club are looking for volunteers to join us at our Youth Groups, After School Club & Half Term Trips.

No experience is necessary. The only requirement is that you have the desire to work and support young people living in the local area.

Clubs run on a Monday and Wednesday evening plus additional half term day trips

After School Club; Mondays 4.45pm-6.30pm (term time only)  

Junior Youth Club; Mondays 6.15pm-8pm,

Senior Youth Club; Wednesdays 6.45pm-8.30pm

CALLING ALL YOUNG PEOPLE IN YOUR CHURCHES AGED BETWEEN 16-23 YEARS

This is an exciting opportunity in the Northampton Methodist Circuit at Park Avenue Methodist Church for a young person to be employed, part-time (for 1 year from September 2016) with the aim of:

 

  • Developing Leadership Skills

  • Involvement with the Methodist Church’s Children & Youth Assembly (‘3Generate’)

  • Providing opportunities to meet other young people in the UK on similar schemes.

Youth Leader Needed (Volunteer)

NGSE (New Generation Social Enterprise) is a group made out of University of Northampton Students. The students are young Entrepreneurs, Aspiring Entrepreneurs or have Business Ideas.

The group is new and seeks a leader to manage and run the group, so that they are able to showcase their Entrepreneurship, Start their own business or develop their Employability skills. Commitment of 4 hrs a week is required.

  • Managing, Planning and administering projects
  • Mentoring, Coaching and supporting
  • Monitoring and Reviewing
  • Attending and contributing to multi agency meetings

Youth Worker needed for new Youth Club in Kings Sutton

Youth Worker needed Sunday evenings 5:30 - 8:30pm

Address of Club: Kings Sutton Memorial Hall, Astrop Rd, OX17 3PG

3 hours’ work at £9 per hour, on a self-employed basis.

Work includes staffing the Club, which runs from 6-8pm, and setting up/putting away

equipment. The club will run in term-time only and the last Sundays in half-term, with the

possibility of adding additional Sundays in the future. The club is for secondary school

children; it’s mainly for kids to chill out with friends, but we will run optional activities as

well.

YOUTH WORK CO-ORDINATOR – The Hub Youth Café, Brackley
Salary Grade F (£16,675 to £21,923 f/t equivalent) 22.5 hours per week
with regular evening and occasional weekends required.
The YMCA is seeking an experienced youth worker who is energetic, enthusiastic
and able to demonstrate motivational leadership qualities. The Youth Work Coordinator
will lead a dedicated team of young people and adult volunteers to
deliver our main youth club sessions in central Brackley as well as supporting
the on-going fundraising efforts. Paramount to success will be ensuring all youth
people’s voices are heard and that they are fully engaged in determining the
future of the project and the service we offer. The role includes continuously
developing the volunteer youth worker team, motivating supporters and working
closely with the project management committee.

Youth Worker (Paid)

A vacancy has arisen for a paid youth worker at Crack-a-jacks youth group. The group meets at Walgrave Primary School from 14:45 - 18:00 in term time and 8:00-18:00 in school holidays (subject to demand)

Rate of pay is £7.50 hour.

Candidates must have a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and will be required to undertake a DBS check.

YOUTH CLUB LEADER (Potterspury)

Potterspury Youth Club is looking for a keen enthusiastic dedicated helper. Age and experience is not as important as the ability to help us to help our members enjoy themselves at Youth Club. We meet for just two hours a week (during school term time) on Thursday evening between 6.30 and 8.30 pm.

We have a fairly even mix of boys and girls of which they are mostly Potterspury children and are aged between 7 and 12 years old. We also have a number of adult and junior helpers that help us out each week.
